Junkai Jiang


Junkai Jiang was born in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, China. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in microelectronics from the Institute of Microelectronics, Peking University, Beijing, China, in 2012. During his undergraduate years, he was a research assistant in SOI group, Peking University and EDA Lab, Tsinghua University. In Fall 2012, he joined the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, University of California Santa Barbara as a MS/PHD student in Nanoelectronics Research Lab under the supervision of Prof. Kaustav Banerjee. His research is focused on modeling, design and characterization of emerging interconnect structures and materials.

He is the recipient of 2018 IEEE EDS PhD Student Fellowship and Best Student Paper Award of 2018 S3S Conference
